By accessing or using Estate Ledger, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal authority to enter into this agreement, and agree to comply with these Terms.
Estate Ledger is a property management software platform designed to help Canadian landlords and property investors organize rental income, track expenses, manage tenants, and prepare data for tax reporting purposes.
To use Estate Ledger you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
You may not share your account credentials with others or create accounts for unauthorized third parties.
Estate Ledger offers a 90-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a free trial. At the end of the trial period, you may choose to subscribe to continue using the Service.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.
You agree to use Estate Ledger only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Estate Ledger. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We will not access your data except as necessary to provide support, maintain the Service, or as required by law.
Upon account termination, you may export your data. After 30 days from termination, we may delete your data from our servers. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from account termination.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Estate Ledger and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
